Michael Bunning

Michael is the CEO - Managing Partner at XFO Partners, a strategic financial services company focused on assisting Venture Capital, Private Equity & Real Estate Funds with CFO|COO|Controller service including: formation, fundraising advice, comprehensive accounting services, and online accounting and financial reporting tools. Prior to founding XFO, Michael was a partner with Aduro Advisors, a leading micro venture fund administrator located in the Bay Area. In addition; Michael formerly was the founding CFO for Social Capital in Palo Alto. Michael brings 20+ years of industry and technical experience and has held several senior financial positions with various Silicon Valley companies such as the Mayfield Fund, Synopsys and Arthur Andersen. He is a California CPA, a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA), a California Licensed Real Estate Broker and graduated cum laude from California Polytechnic at San Luis Obispo with a B.S. in Business Administration.
