Martin A. Sarafa, also known as Marty, is a Managing Partner at Century Park Capital Partners, LLC. He is one of the founders of the firm and has been a Managing Partner of the firm since its formation in 1999. At the firm, he is responsible for sourcing, closing, and managing investments structured as leveraged recapitalizations, later stage growth capital, and leveraged buyouts. He was a Director at Churchill Equity, Inc. Sarafa has extensive experience in the private equity arena and has direct investment experience in numerous industries including plastic injection molding, consumer products, industrial services, basic and specialty manufacturing, distribution, and technology-related businesses. He also serves as Director and President at Mikawaya Holdings, Inc. Previously, he was a Managing Director at Houlihan Lokey Howard & Zukin, where he was a senior professional primarily responsible for managing the firm’s private equity investments through Churchill ESOP Capital Partners from 1995. In that capacity, Sarafa originated and negotiated buyouts, recapitalizations, growth financings, and ESOP transactions for private middle-market companies. Prior to his involvement with Churchill ESOP Capital Partners, Sarafa spent seven years employed in the Investment Banking Group at HLHZ where he advised on private middle market mergers, acquisitions, and leveraged financings valued at over $1 billion. He began his career as an entrepreneur. Sarafa founded and operated Information Dynamics Corp. He currently serves as a Member of the Board of Directors of Packaging Plus, Dickinson Frozen Foods, Ryan’s Express, Lynx Grills, Moss Inc., Cirtec Medical Sytems, ICM Products, Inc., and Specialty Manufacturing. He earned a M.B.A. degree in Finance from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business and a B.S. degree in Economics and Computer Science from the University of Michigan.
