Patrick Yang

Mr Patrick Yang is the Managing Director of Phillip Private Equity. He has been involved in venture capital investments since 1991 and has 25 years of experience working with local enterprises beginning with his stint in the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) where he was primarily involved in the development of SMEs in Singapore. He has been instrumental in establishing & nurturing the corporate venture capital business of the ECICS Group since 1990. An MBA graduate from the University of Bradford, U.K., Patrick also holds a B.Sc. (Hons) (Mechanical Engineering) from the University of Leeds, U.K. Prior to joining the ECICS Group in February 1990 as Assistant General Manager of IFS, Patrick was heading the Enterprise Development (Commerce & Services) Group at the Singapore Economic Development Board.
