Alexander Guizzetti

Alexander Guizzetti is the President of Scottsdale-based 9d Ventures, a venture capital and private equity company, and an entrepreneur by trade. Originally from the Midwest and a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, he majored in both Business Management and Real Estate & Urban Economics. Guizzetti founded his first company in 2012 after he had developed the concept during the last year of his undergraduate career. This company developed a variety of websites, providing exceptional growth for the core products it promoted. Guizzetti continues to be involved in the day-to-day operations of that company today. Guizzetti has a background with the Vanguard Group, having worked at the company for more than a year. After passing the FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 exams for the position, he moved to Arizona for the job. Scottsdale quickly became Guizzetti's home. He had the idea for 9d Ventures after noticing that larger companies didn't have the agility to adapt their products and services to a quickly changing world. This professional has always pushed for more in his career. He obtained both his real estate license completed the necessary coursework to receive a certificate in Entrepreneurship at the University of Wisconsin. Guizzetti is constantly looking for better solutions, both in terms of speed and efficiency, and startups have the ability to create and pivot at the drop of a hat. They can run on lean budgets and they care more about innovation than they do about products. He wanted to spot these kinds of companies in the early stages. The businesses with picture-perfect pitch decks looking for seed round funding or Series A will find that 9d Ventures is ready to hear all about their plans. This entrepreneur's days are fueled with near-constant momentum. Often times, he will stay up until 2 a.m. on release nights to ensure all website updates are implemented without interrupting his business or that of his clients. When he gets an idea, he writes it down in his phone so he doesn't forget. If it's worth anything, he'll ask his UX/UI team to create a prototype for his next potential venture. Guizzetti has always had to remain flexible throughout his career. He has to stay on-task without crossing over into burnout, a difficult ask of someone with so many responsibilities. His dedication to himself and his team is just one of the reasons he's been so effective in his position. In his spare time, Guizzetti enjoys walking his dog and visiting one of Scottsdale's many parks or hiking trails. He exercises to promote work-life balance and wholeheartedly believes that what you do outside of work can have a huge impact on what you do when you're at work.
