Victor Soler

Victor Soler, a native of Sevilla, Spain, was born in 1990 during the sunny days that are typical of the southern Spanish city. Since he was small, his only focus was the Law and Justice. In 1996, Victor ran into school, skipping along, stoked about Social Studies and Law. When he graduated from high school, his next step was to venture into the legal sector of society. Since 2008, he started his life as a student when he joined the 'University of Seville's Centro de Estudios Universitarios Cardenal Spínola' (CEU), doing a Law and Political Sciences degrees. During his university life, Victor was highly engaged in student clubs, which definitely made a big difference due to his stellar marks. His talent for a quick and comprehensive rereading of the cases and fact-backing of arguments attracted the attention of both professors and peers. Grad school was finally over in 2013, and Victor entered the corporate pool, joining an International Solicitors Association (ISA), a prominent international law firm focusing on Corporate Law and Trade Secrets. Due to the effectiveness of his methods and his level of professionalism — it only took him less time to move to the leadership position! During the time he achieved his Bachelor's dual degree — that was enough for him. He crushed it and immediately pursued his postgraduate studies after finishing his Bachelor’s degree, enrolling in a Master's program in 2014 to fully embrace the entire scope of Law. As of 2016, Victor had not only completed his postgrad but had also achieved his Master's degree, marking the culmination of his higher education! After completing his university studies and obtaining his degrees, Victor Soler decided to start applying his knowledge and skills in practice. This led him to work on his research and legal practice as a corporate and commercial law trainee at the 'Montero Aramburu Abogados' Law Firm, beginning his career in 2013, just a short time after finishing his Bachelor's program. In his role at Montero, Victor played a pivotal role in navigating complex corporate mergers, leveraging his expertise to facilitate seamless integrations while ensuring compliance with Spanish and EU regulations. However, Victor's journey didn’t stop there. Taking on the role of Senior Associate in the field of Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) at Garrigues was the next step for him, becoming the firm’s top legal associate specialized in M&A. While performing this job, he was fully committed to navigating the path that leads to the true North; from protecting intellectual property to ensuring compliance with the relevant laws. Victor's legal odyssey took a turn when he found himself delving deeper and deeper into the darkest secrets of the corporate world, related to business ethics. His unwavering belief in honesty and truthfulness not only enabled him to act righteously according to the law but also set a standard for how the big boys and girls should behave. Throughout his career, Victor explored a variety of the most diverse and leading legal companies and firms in Spain, such as: Cuatrecasas, Pérez-Llorca, Uría Menéndez, and others. At Cuatrecasas, Victor was instrumental in formulating a robust defense strategy for high-profile intellectual property cases. Meanwhile, his tenure at Pérez-Llorca saw him navigating complex international trade agreements, showcasing his ability to adapt and excel across varied legal landscapes. During his tenure at these companies, Victor initiated improvements in ethics and significantly contributed to Business Integrity, Stakeholder Confidence, and Rating. Victor spearheaded a groundbreaking initiative to overhaul the ethical compliance framework, significantly reducing conflicts of interest across the board and setting a new standard for transparency in corporate governance! However, this was only short-term; Victor was drawn to truly innovative and highly ambitious projects. He longed for something greater, where he could apply his skills and specialization purposefully, knowing that he was contributing to the development of a true market leader on a global scale. Thanks to his problem-solving strategy and ability to foresee the future, his contribution to solving legal issues became a key tool for addressing international legal challenges and caught the attention of our founders, who offered Victor participation in our ambitious and grandiose projects at zk-Call & Digital Company in 2023, utilizing his ideal skills and specialization precisely. Victor played a key role, which enabled the company to flush through legal barriers and comply with the regulators’ requirements. His eloquence and talent in analyzing complicated legal situations gave a boost for our zk-Call's Company which in turn enabled it to achieve short-term goals! With Victor's experience and knowledge in international law, zk-Call was able to expand its operations worldwide, minimizing risks and venturing into new markets. His ability to look into the future and proactively develop a strategy of anticipation contributed to the company's seamless operation as it stepped onto new ground! Victor Soler’s effectiveness to zk-Call and the legal community — is evidence of his devotion, strategic thinking, and ethical leadership. Furthermore, his awareness is not only within zk-Call's Company but also among legal and business communities. He took the headship at the courtroom and in the board meetings. His dedication in bringing up bright legal minds to the stage, came with his interest in setting up mentorship programs where younger lawyers and law students were motivated to attain excellence in their professional practices. The inclination to practice an open-door policy and share the expertise resulted in a culture of learning and innovation in the legal department as well as other courts.
