Denys Boiko

Denys Boiko is a European entrepreneur, banking professional, and investor with more than 20 years of experience stretching across markets from Europe to the Middle East and South Asia. He is passionate about investing in emerging markets, and the exciting potential of new digital services. He started in the late nineties in the European banking sector where he quickly made a name for himself progressing from specialist operator to executive in just seven years. In 2004, he was appointed head of the investment division at TNK-BP where he managed strategic initiatives and supervised key investments while navigating the complexities of both financial and industrial sectors. In 2007, Boiko joined TAS, an investment and finance powerhouse in Eastern Europe, where he led strategic financial and banking sector investments. Over the next 15 years, he invested in and developed various financial services and fintech companies with a particular focus on digital technologies and emerging markets. By 2023, his investments had netted a profit of €5 million. Denys is also the founder of Erglis, a Hungary-based investments and property management company which was set up in 2021. It has since grown rapidly and was turning over €8 million in 2022. Having made his name in the European financial sector, he set his sights on new regions. In 2022, he founded BDG Quantum, a Dubai-based marketing research and digital solutions company, reflecting his focus on data-driven investment strategies. The following year, in 2023, he established a new investment company in Bahrain. He now resides in the UAE and is actively exploring new financial products in the Middle East and South Asia.
