Marek Sala

Marek O. Sala is the Founder of Global Primex and has served as our Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of our board of directors since 2019. Considered to be a pioneer and innovator in the field of cashless payments, Mr. Sala has directed the expansion of the Global Primex brand across three continents and six international offices over the course of fifteen years in the regtech and fintech landscape. Under Mr. Sala's leadership, Global Primex entities have been awarded the EU Financial Institution License followed by the EU E-Money license and the Payment Intermediary Services license (CEMEA Region). Prior to establishing the Global Primex brand, Mr. Sala founded and led GPN DATA; overseeing its growth to commercial scale as it became the go-to high-risk online payment processor for e-commerce merchant transactions worldwide. With extensive experience in payments and mobile technology, Mr. Sala is leading Global Primex to reimagine how people move and manage money, and how merchants and consumers interact and transact.
