Martin R. Lautman serves as the Managing Partner at Marketing Channels, Inc.Lautman serves as the Managing Director at GfK ARBOR, LLC. He is a Fund Advisor and Mentor at MentorTech Ventures. Lautman has focused on venture capital and works as a Venture Partner in three early stage venture funds, Seventy Six Capital, First Round Capital and Mentor Tech (Wharton and Penn) where he helps evaluate new investment opportunities and provides marketing support for portfolio companies. Previously, Lautman served as the President at Marketing Channels, Inc. He served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at GfK Custom Research Inc., and was responsible for a major corporate turnaround and the integration all of the newly acquired North American custom research companies with those in GfK's existing worldwide portfolio. Lautman was also part of a senior management team that acquired a large division from a major New York stock exchange company and subsequently took it public as a Master Limited Partnership. Prior to GfK, he served as the Senior Managing Director at ARBOR, Media, Pennsylvania. where over a 25 year span he was the Engagement Director for 500+ branding, new products, marketing effectiveness assessment and strategy projects for numerous multi-national clients including AT&T, The Henkel Dial Corporation, Kraft, McDonald’s, Bristol-Myers, Campbell Soup, Nestlé, Marriott, General Motors, P&G Gillette, Dell, Brown-Forman, Avon, and Merck.
