Thomas Zipp

Thomas Zipp is an experienced investor, corporate executive, and board member with a strong background in accounting and finance. His extensive 35-year career has included the management and development of many successful business acquisitions, turnaround transactions, and major real estate investments. Zipp has served as Director and Owner of MDF systems, CEO of an electrical products company and Treasurer/Controller of the Smith Gates Corporation, a 650 employee company where he oversaw investments, financials, personnel, and accounting. He is currently Principal Owner and Developer of a major industrial plant which is being redeveloped into incubator space. An active member of the community, Zipp has served as Chairman of the Farmington Economic Development Commission, Selectman for the City of Bristol, President of the Country Club of Farmington, President of the Rotary society and Chairman of the Fund Raising Committee for the Boys Club, in addition to numerous other organizations both current and past.
