Vipul Shah

Vipul has more than 20 years of experience as an entrepreneur and private investor. Prior to joining Arrowpoint Partners, Vipul was a Managing Director at Brightwood Capital, a private investment firm with over $2 billion in assets under management, including two SBIC funds. Previously, he co-founded SVT Capital, a technology-focused, middle-market private equity firm. Vipul co-founded SVT after working for Goldman Sachs’ Principal Investment Area, where he was responsible for sourcing, evaluating, executing and managing mid-market private equity and debt investments across the technology, media, telecommunications and industrial sectors. An active board participant, he worked with portfolio company management to evaluate acquisition opportunities, operational improvements and recruit senior executives. Prior to his position at Goldman Sachs, Vipul co-founded Pyramid Digital Solutions, an enterprise software company. After successfully driving growth for 11+ years, he negotiated the sale of Pyramid to SunGard Data Systems. Vipul earned a bachelor of science degree in Finance from the University of Alabama and an MBA from MIT’s Sloan School of Management.
