In 2013, Yoko earned her Master’s degree in Machine Learning and Neural Network Optimization, distinguishing herself through innovative research and a deep commitment to advancing AI applications. While at the institute, Yoko's work as a Research Associate allowed her to significantly advance the efficiency of real-time systems. Her groundbreaking master's thesis on optimizing sparse neural networks paved the way for future contributions to the field. Eager to push these boundaries further, Yoko embarked on doctoral studies at the same institution, focusing on neural network optimization to enhance data processing speeds for critical AI applications. Realizing the potential of her research in practical scenarios, Yoko transitioned to the tech industry before completing her Ph.D. This strategic move started with her role as Chief AI Architect at Fujitsu in Tokyo in 2020, where she integrated AI-driven analytics to transform business operations and customer interactions in telecommunications and healthcare. In 2022, Yoko joined Horizon Innovations in Tokyo.
