Colleen Crary

I offer you a skill set of psychology, business, technology, education and research skills that successfully communicate goals to ordinary people in simple language. A virtual and in-person community expert and researcher, I develop and create new communities and teams as a highly organized, results-driven, C-level professional, successfully engaging people in shared interests to achieve goals and profits. Her consultancy services cover an array of business development matters, from team building and corporate training to change management and content strategy. In 2023, she expanded her work to the event management space and began designing events and programs for mental health advocacy and education. Her past projects include a nine-week education series for EchoVets that provides information on PTSD recovery and support to veterans and their families. Dr. Crary is also a longtime speaker and presenter at technology, education, and mental health conferences, in which she highlights the benefits of virtual communities and extended reality (XR) events to mental health outreach, advocacy, and education. She has presented at Virtual Ability Mental Health Symposium from 2010 - 2022, numerous academic and military conferences, notably in 2021 presented research at Shift Medical Conference, Europe’s largest medical XR event, in 2021. She also appears in presentations on mental health care topics via podcasts, conference panels, and other venues. Moreover, she served as a virtual technology expert, promoting it as a venue for mental health care researcher. Dr. Crary is the Founder and Executive Director of Fearless Nation PTSD Support, a nonprofit to support mental health initiatives using virtual platforms. In addition to developing over 25 VR environments, she mentors employees and volunteers in technology, psychology, and business and has published multiple articles and white papers on virtual technology.
