Rohit Malhotra

Rohit Malhotra joined HighBar Partners from the StepStone Group in 2013. At StepStone Rohit Malhotra was a member of the co-investment and venture fund investing teams. Prior to StepStone, Rohit Malhotra was a senior investment professional at a $240 million India-focused private equity fund. He was also a Vice President at Goldman Sachs' Principal Investing Area (PIA) and was responsible for leading transactions in the firm's technology investing practice. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Rohit Malhotra was an Associate at Bessemer Venture Partners. Prior to his investing career, Rohit Malhotra held marketing and engineering positions in the semiconductor industry with KLA-Tencor, Nikon and Motorola. Rohit Malhotra began his career as the lead technology developer for Proler Environmental Services, a start up in the waste-to-energy industry. Rohit Malhotra holds a BE degree in Chemical Engineering with Honors from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, an MS in Engineering from Texas A&M University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
