Darren Abrahamson is a Partner at Bain Capital, which he joined in 2005. Darren is a Member of the firm’s global TMT practice and has been involved in the firm’s investments in Viewpoint Construction Software, BMC Software, SkillSoft, Applied Systems, SunGard and Sensata Technologies, among others. Prior to joining Bain Capital, Darren was a Consultant at Monitor Group where he consulted in the technology, pharmaceutical, and energy industries. Darren currently serves as a Member of the Board of Directors at Viewpoint since May 2014, Sungard Availability Services since April 2014 and Blue Coat Systems since May 2015. Darren received a MBA from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar. Darren graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
