Jake Nunn

Jake R. Nunn has been a member of our board of directors since April 2009. Jake Nunn joined New Enterprise Associates, Inc. as a partner in 2006, where he focuses on later-stage specialty pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and medical device investments. Jake Nunn also spent 4 years as a partner and an analyst for the MPM BioEquities Fund, a public life sciences fund at MPM Capital LP, where he specialized in life sciences investing. Jake Nunn has worked as a healthcare research analyst and portfolio manager at Franklin Templeton Investments and as an investment banker with Alex, Brown and Sons. Jake Nunn is currently on the board of directors at Transcept Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and 3 private companies. Jake Nunn received an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and an AB in economics from Dartmouth College. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Society of San Francisco.
