Jared started his first corporation at 22, has his first exit at 26, and went on to form another six companies over the next 25 years. Jared was a freelance video game designer/developer in the 1990's, designing and developing video games for Warner Brothers, GT Interactive, Sierra Online, Microprose, and others. Some of the game design document techniques Jared introduced in the 1996 and 1997 Computer Game Developers Conference (now the GDC) are still used today. Moving on from the electronic entertainment industry, Jared moved into the world of corporate software development for Fortune 500 companies and performed high-level engagements for American Express, Royal Caribbean, Office Depot, and more. Sensing opportunity in the burgeoning VR market of 2005, Jared devoted his energy to Virtual Reality and Virtual World software, becoming a pioneer in the field of Virtual Reality Metrics and Analytics, having created the worlds-first general purpose virtual reality activity and use metrics capture platform, called V-Tracker. Jared's work with V-Tracker led him to be selected as an IBM Business Partner, and he worked closely with IBM during their Second Life efforts from 2007 - 2009. Jared is also a pioneer in virtual reality advertising systems, having developed the worlds first distributed web-service based virtual reality display advertising system, AdSoft, which had all the features you would expect from an advanced electronic billboard management system, with the added feature of collecting detailed viewer and activity metrics. As the Virtual Reality industry began to encounter serious resistance in 2010, Jared moved his efforts into the burgeoning Mobile Software industry and created over a dozen apps of moderate success. Jared then released the now infamous "Weed Farmer" series of apps on Android and Apple, starting in 2011, and "Weed Farmer" quickly rose to become a Top 20 Paid Casual App on Android and a Top 20 Paid Role Playing Game on iPhone, and was the very first cannabis related entertainment product on the Apple platform. Jared used his success as an app developer to create a variety of technologies related to IoT and 360 video creation over the next few years, selling most of them privately. Jared then produced at 360 Degree Video Action/Adventure series proof-of-concept and was the first 360 Video product to be introduced at the NATPE conference in its 50 plus year history. Starting in 2012, Jared began mining Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, and began work on his own series of crypto products. Now Jared is getting ready to release these products under the brand Cryptokitty.com, a name brand established in 2014.
