Anne Portwich

Anne Portwich, PhD, is a Partner at LSP in the Amsterdam office and has been with the firm since 2001. Anne has participated in the investment process of many LSP portfolio companies, including Jerini, ActoGeniX, Movetis, FlowCardia and Curetis. She currently serves on the supervisory boards of ActoGeniX and Nexstim. Furthermore, she is a jury member of the Dutch business plan competition New Venture. Before Anne came to LSP she was a project leader at OctoPlus, a Dutch contract research organization specializing in drug delivery. A biochemist by training, Anne received her PhD from the Max Planck-Institute of Marine Microbiology in Bremen, where she worked on the biosynthesis of UV-absorbing compounds in cyanobacteria. Anne is a German native and she also speaks fluent English and Dutch.
