Gabe Ling

Gabe Ling is managing director at M33 Growth, a venture, and growth-stage investment manager that partners with founders and CEOs and seeks to rapidly scale and build industry-leading companies. He brings a zeal for entrepreneurship to the M33 founding team. Over his career, he has helped launch startups and taken an active operational role with several portfolio companies. A seasoned growth equity investor with a focus on technology, data services, and healthcare, Gabe has experience in helping teams drive growth and create valuable data assets. Most recently, Gabe was a partner at General Catalyst, where he led investments in growth-stage companies in the software, business services, and healthcare services, and IT sectors. He served on several boards, including Datalogix (acquired by Oracle), CLEAResult (acquired by General Atlantic), Oceans Healthcare, OGSystems, and Brighter. Prior to General Catalyst, Gabe attended Yale University, where he graduated with a B.A. in Economics and worked at the Yale Investments Office, which manages the university’s endowment and is recognized as a pioneering institutional investor. He was recognized by the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce as a 2016 recipient of the Ten Outstanding Young Leaders (TOYL) award for civic and business leaders and is an alumnus of Harvard Business School’s Young American Leaders Program, which convenes leaders from around the country to foster cross-sector collaborations that impact local communities. Gabe currently serves on the United Way PE/VC Leadership Council and works on the organization’s early childhood development initiatives.
