Co-Founder and COO at Hype Asia. Hype is a venture capital and builder firm started by the Asia landing team for Airbnb and WeWork. At Hype, we help Startups demystify, unlock, and succeed in Asia. Previously, Robert was Director of Business Operations and Strategy for Airbnb China where he helped build the regional business from 5 headcount to over 300 sitting across all business units. Prior to Airbnb, Robert built a recruitment, e-commerce, and apparel business. Robert is bilingual American born Chinese from Oakland, California and has resided in Asia for the last 12 years.
