Miriam Monahan

Internationally recognized clinician and researcher recognized for innovations in the field of cognition and driving and the visionary behind Drive Fit. Miriam is an Occupational Therapist, a Certified Driving Rehabilitation Specialist, and a Driving School Instructor. She has been practicing in the field of Driver Rehabilitation Program since 1998 in a variety of settings including academic, hospital, and private practice. She founded the nonprofit Driver Rehabilitation Institute to further research, education and innovation in the field of driver rehabilitation. She lectures extensively on the topic of driver rehabilitation, both nationally and internationally to medical professionals, law enforcement, and academics. She has authored several textbook chapters on driver rehabilitation subjects and has been a co/author of 18 peer-reviewed publications. She has worked with Western University in London, Ontario to develop a Master in Clinical Science in Driver Rehabilitation.
