Tim Zheng

Tim Zheng is the Co-founder and CEO at Apollo.io, one of the fastest-growing SaaS companies offering the leading go-to-market (GTM) solution. Zheng launched the company in 2015, adopting a product-led growth model to make sales prospecting more intelligent, automated, and accessible. He has guided the evolution of Apollo.io to become the leading all-in-one solution across the entire sales funnel that addresses a company’s go-to-market needs – determining who your prospects are and how to engage with them, to forecasting results. An engineer by trade, Zheng is focused on building a generational company that brings world-class go-to-market to the masses, leading a rapidly-growing team of 500+ team members who are fully distributed across 30 countries globally. Zheng's professional journey began at MIT where he studied computer science with a vision to build product-led solutions solving complex problems. In 2011, he founded his first company BrainGenie. After trying a wide range of expensive sales prospecting tools and finding they were not effective in getting the word out to customers, he decided to build his own in-house go-to-market platform. Soon after, BrainGenie grew to 1 million users and was acquired. Then in 2015, Zheng leveraged what he had learned to launch Apollo.io, which is now valued at $1.6 billion.
