Ned Dorbin

Ned’s works in BGF’s investment team in the South West and is responsible for identifying and successfully executing investments for the Fund. He will also sit on the board of some of the Fund’s investee companies. Ned joined from Maven Capital Partners (formerly Aberdeen Asset Management) having worked in their London office since 2007. He completed 7 equity investments at Maven working across all of the key corporate finance regions in the South. Prior to this Ned worked in corporate finance for over five years as an assistant director in the private equity lead advisory team at BDO Stoy Hayward. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with BDO in 2001. Ned graduated with a BSc in Oceanography with Mathematics from Southampton University. He lives in Bristol and is married with three young children
