Rick Meeves

Rick Meeves comes from the private sector of Health Services. After completing a Ph.D. in 1997, he began working for some small private companies until venturing off to start his own company in 2001. Rick started on a shoe-string budget, developed a great team, never operated in the red nor accepted outside infusions of capital, and having become widely acknowledged within his industry was aggressively pursued in 2004 when a larger, venture-based company. While completing a very successful earn-out in 2007, Rick also continued to help build the acquiring company advance toward a 300 million valuation and exit in 2007. Rick now consults for that company, CRC Health Group, a 500 million dollar company. Rick is thrilled to bring his entrepreneurial and operational vision and experience to the advisory board at Shipzi.
