Louis H. Borders

Mr. Louis H. Borders is a Founder of Mercury Capital Management, LLC. Mr. Borders founded MyWire, Inc. (Keepmedia Inc.) and serves as its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. He revolutionized the retail book industry with the founding of Borders, the first book and music superstore chain. Mr. Borders developed the advanced information systems used by the MyWire to manage inventory across diverse geographic and demographic regions. Mr. Borders serves as Principal of Mercury Capital Management, an investment firm. He served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Webvan from December 1996 to September 1999. He founded Borders Books, a retail bookstore chain in 1971 and served as President and Chief Executive Officer until 1983. He has more than 30 years of experience as a successful entrepreneur. Mr. Borders co-founded Synergy Software in November 1989. He founded Mercury Capital Management in 1995 and serves as its Chairman. He serves as Chairman of KeepMedia Inc. He served as Chairman of the Board of Webvan since December 1996. He served as Chairman of Borders Books from 1983 to 1992. He served as director of Synergy Software, a software consulting company from November 1989 to November 1997. He served as a Director of Webvan Group until February 2001. Mr. Borders holds a B.A in Mathematics from the University of Michigan and completed graduate coursework in mathematics at MIT.
