Luca Binda PhD MBA

Dr Luca Binda is managing partner and investment director of TechWald Holding (Italy & Israel), a participation holding company active in medtech in Israel, Europe and US. He also is an executive director of a number of medtech start up corporations. From 2009 to 2018 he was senior investment manager of the Venture Capital firm IMI Fondi Chiusi (Italy) focusing on investments in medtech. Previously he was senior scientist at ETHZurich (Switzerland) in the field of modelling and simulation of mechanical systems and product engineer lead at Alfa Romeo S.p.A. (Italy). He earned a MBA from SDA Bocconi (Italy), a PhD in mechanical engineering from ETH Zurich (Switzerland) and a MSc from Politecnico di Milano (Italy).
