Anthony Lin

Anthony Lin is vice president and senior managing director of Intel Capital. He is responsible for all areas of strategic growth, including equity investing, M&A, and new business incubation. Lin is responsible for leading, managing and driving Intel’s mergers and acquisitions that contribute to Intel’s growth strategy. Lin joined Intel’s M&A team in 2008 and has more than 24 years of experience in technology M&A, investments, strategy, financial planning and business development. As head of Intel Capital, Intel’s global investment organization, Lin also leads equity investments in innovative technology startups and companies worldwide. The Intel Capital organization delivers market leading returns by providing not only financial investments, but also the full resources of Intel to its portfolio companies. Intel Capital is one of the largest, most successful and longest serving corporate venture organizations. Lin was formerly the leader of the equity international investing practice and a member of the investment committee. Lin heads the Emerging Growth and Incubation Group focused on nimble innovation and developing new technologies and businesses internally. Lin also leads the Intel Sports Group which resulted from a product of inorganic and organic efforts. Before joining Intel, Lin worked for 12 years in corporate finance, M&A and private equity roles at Banc of America Securities, ASAT, Merrill Lynch and PaineWebber. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of California at Berkeley.
