Chris MacFarland

Chris MacFarland joined Masergy as Chief Operating Officer in 2008 and was quickly promoted to CEO and Executive Chairman. Under Mr. MacFarland’s leadership, Masergy continues to grow at a profitable and rapid pace including the key milestone of $1 billion in cumulative revenues. Chris was selected as the Tech Titans CEO of the Year for 2016 and the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2015 for the Southwest region. Prior to joining Masergy, he has served in various senior executive positions at BroadSoft, McLeodUSA, Allegiance Telecom, Verio, OnRamp, CompuNet and Compu-Tek International. Mr. MacFarland currently serves on the board of directors for iTopia. Mr. MacFarland is passionate about community service and has championed numerous charitable and outreach programs. He attended the University of Texas at Arlington where he majored in Computer Science and Engineering.
