Ali Celiker

Ali Celiker is a seasoned financial markets expert and entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience across fixed-income capital markets and FinTech. He currently serves as Co-CEO and Board Director at BPX, a UK FCA-authorised digital securities exchange focused on enhancing liquidity and market access for investment funds through both traditional and tokenised securities. Ali began his career in global capital markets, holding senior trading and sales roles at firms such as Paloma Securities, Mitsubishi UFJ Securities, BNP Paribas, and J.P. Morgan. His expertise spans short-term interest rate instruments, securities lending, and structured fixed-income products. Transitioning into entrepreneurship, he founded British Pearl, an FCA-regulated investment platform offering fractional real estate investing and lending, where he served as CEO for over 15 years. Under his leadership, the company developed award-nominated financial services software and raised £12 million in venture capital to launch innovative investment and lending products. Ali is also Chairman and a founding member of the Association of Real Estate Investment Platforms, advocating for innovation and regulation in the sector. A proponent of distributed ledger technology in capital markets, he is passionate about leveraging proven technologies to improve financial infrastructure. He holds a BA (Hons) in Economics and Econometrics from the University of Kent, along with multiple professional certifications in financial services and securities.
