Roberto Ramos Casas

Born in Mexico City, 1958; fluent in Spanish, English and German. Roberto started off his career studying Economics at ITAM in Mexico City. Following this, he went on to become a Logistics apprentice in Hamburg, Germany. He is the second generation in family business related to International Trade and Logistics. Ever since, Roberto has become a serial entrepreneur and investor both in traditional and startup ventures with strong focus on TMT technologies, building upon his strong background in international trade, logistics, internationalisation - with consequential experience in Asia, North and South America and Spain. Since, Roberto has founded the Ramos Family Office, is founding member of The Angelhub Club an Angel Investment Network based in Monterrey, Mexico and the Mexico City Chapter of the Club, and Founder and Chairman of both R2 Logtech Investment Fund (early stage investment in Logistics Startups) as well as R2 Entertainment. He is also a founding member of The CNCPI (Mexico’s National Institution of Professional Independent Board), the Current Chairman of AMACARGA (Mexican Freight Forwarders Association), and a Senator for Mexico of the World Business Investment Forum. In his spare time, Roberto is an avid reader, collects Mexican folk art & music lover. He is married to Claudia Ramos (over 30 years) - father of two university-educated adult-aged daughters.
