Ben Herman

Ben is a Principal at LightBay Capital. Previously, Ben was a Principal at Cressey & Company, where he worked for six years. While at Cressey & Company, Ben led investments across several industries and in a variety of transaction types. He served on the board of five companies in the healthcare, consumer/retail, manufacturing and specialty distribution sectors. He also spent a year as Director of Operations Finance at VetCor Professional Practices. Prior to joining Cressey, Ben was an Investment Banking Analyst in the Global Healthcare Group at UBS Investment Bank. Ben graduated from Yale University, where he earned a B.A. in Economics. He also holds an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated with honors.
