Takanobu Yamamoto

Takanobu Yamamoto is the Business Manager of Rakuten Travel, the leading service of online travel in Japan. He is also Executive Officer of Rakuten, Inc. Takanobu started his carrier at NTT DoCoMo as Product Management team member in 1999. In 2006, he moved to Expedia Inc. to launch its Japanese service and transferred to its sister company TripAdvisor in 2008, where he mostly recently served as VP and General Manager, Japan, Korea and APAC Market Development. He joined Rakuten in March 2013.
