Juan Carlos Delano

Mr. Delano is a founding partner and CEO of Aurus Gestión de Inversiones, board member of Arauco Express and Aurus Ciudad Empresarial companies, and investment committee member of Aurus Renta Inmobiliaria, Aurus Insignia, Aurus Bios and Aurus Tecnología funds. Between 1990 and 2000, he worked at Banco Bice in different functions, serving as manager of the private banking division, responsible for Retail Banking, Mortgage Banking and Mutual Mortgage projects. He was board member of Bice`s Mutual Funds and the firm´s Brokerage, while at the same time a permanent member of the bank´s Credit Committee. From 2000 to 2005, Mr. Delano was the board member responsible for the private banking division of Santander Chile. Later, he became a partner at Moneda Asset Management SA serving as CEO of Moneda Brokerage and head of private banking for the company. Between 2010 and 2012, Mr. Delano led Chile Transparente, the Chilean chapter of Transaparency International (TI), and is currently serving as its board membe. As of 2012, his role expanded to include that of audit committee member for TI, as well as member of the organization´s Financial Integrity Expert Panel. Juan Carlos has since joined the Business and Society circle of ICARE, participated as a judge for Accion`s CSR initiative to nominate the best Social Responsibility report issued in 2011, and become a advisory committee member of both AVINA´s Transparentemos program, and for IDB's Civil Society groups. Juan Carlos holds a Business Administration degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
