Louis oversees the investing activities at Comcast Ventures and is responsible for evaluating investment opportunities, coordinating due diligence efforts and assisting in the negotiation and structuring of financial terms for new portfolio investments. He focuses on technologies related to video and communications services, enterprise services and cloud/data center solutions. He also works with the management of Comcast Ventures portfolio companies on strategic, business development and operations issues, and collaborates with various Comcast business units on issues relating to new services, technologies and start-ups. Previously, Louis worked in investment banking and at a venture capital firm focused on software and communications services and products. Louis graduated with honors and holds a MBA from The Wharton School and a MA in International Studies from the Joseph H. Lauder Institute of Management & International Studies at the University of Pennsylvania. He also graduated from the Management & Technology Program at the University of Pennsylvania with a BS in Economics from The Wharton School and a BS in Materials Science & Engineering from the School of Engineering & Applied Science. As a venture capitalist, Louis lacks sufficient risk-taking in his life, and so avidly pursues rock climbing, glade skiing and traveling to far-flung corners of the world.
