Eli Nir

Eli is a partner in Amiti Ventures starting 2012, and has been thoroughly involved in technical due diligence and significant decision-making in building Amiti’s portfolio. Prior to joining Amiti, Eli had been vice president for Research and Development in AudioCodes, managing more than 250 engineers in a few multinational R&D teams. He was the visionary, inventor and chief architect of most major products in Audiocodes arsenal; products which have established the state of the art in the VoIP field, and generated over $1 Billion in sales to date. Prior to that, Eli had been a senior officer in one of the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) elite intelligence technological units, heading both operational units and large development groups. During this time, Eli was responsible for the development of a world class, first of its kind system for signal intelligence which changed fundamentals in IDF’s intelligence and operational capabilities. Eli holds an M.B.A. and a M.Sc. from Tel Aviv University in Digital Speech Processing and a B.Sc. from the Technion; all of them with honors.
