Fred is the Managing partner and Chairman of the Board at Forestay Capital SA, the Tech Fund of Waypoint Capital, Swiss entrepreneur Ernesto Bertarelli's investment Group. Forestay focuses on novel, revenue-generating technology companies, in particular in Europe, the U.S. and Israel, that challenge established models and the status-quo, primarily through software and data. Forestay is operated and managed by Forestay Capital Management Ltd in Jersey, which is in turn advised by Forestay Capital SA in Geneva. Forestay is held exclusively by its controlling shareholders and will, in no circumstances, be offered for investment to third-parties. Prior to forming Forestay, Fred spent 25 years in the digital space within the Bio-pharmaceutical industry running IT globally as Chief Information of Officer for Serono in Geneva and then Merck KGaA in Boston and Frankfurt. He was most recently the Chief Digital Office of the Waypoint Capital group. Fred holds a degree in Finance and Economics from the Geneva University.
