Gary Strumeyer

A successful author with broad experience in finance and economics, Gary Strumeyer has written three books on capital markets and financial literacy. These include the 2017 book The Capital Markets: The Evolution of the Financial Eco-system, a practical textbook-style publication that discusses the range of products comprising capital markets, as well as infrastructural aspects that provide the foundation for these markets. Gary Strumeyer also examines a variety of tools to manage risk in trading. Gary Strumeyer graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of science in economics and management from New York University before completing a master of business administration in finance. He served as president and CEO of a major investment bank. Since 2017, he has led his firm to provide expert witness and consulting services for capital markets. Alongside his consulting career, he serves as an adjunct professor at LIU Post, where he teaches courses in FinTech, derivatives, and capital markets. In his free time, he enjoys staying current on news related to Bitcoin and cryptocurrency.
