Benjamin Joe

Benjamin Joe is Vice President for Asia Pacific at Meta, responsible for driving the company’s growth and business operations across the region. Ben is a global technology leader with over 23 years of experience in sales management, corporate strategy and business development. A Meta veteran, Ben joined the company in 2011 and has held various leadership roles across different markets. His previous positions include Country Director of Korea and, most recently, Vice President of Southeast Asia and Emerging Markets. Under Ben’s leadership, Meta’s business in Korea and Southeast Asia has grown to become two of the fastest-growing markets in the region. Ben began his journey at Meta in the United States, where he spearheaded the company’s international growth efforts and entry into Asia. Prior to joining Meta, Ben was a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, advising technology companies on corporate strategy, sales and marketing, and mergers and acquisitions. Before McKinsey & Company, Ben worked in sales and business development roles at IBM. Ben plays an active role in shaping the industry, currently serving on the board of directors at Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) Asia Pacific. He previously served on the board of directors at the US-ASEAN Business Council and was also the Vice Chairman on the board of directors at Korea Internet Corporations Association (KICA). Additionally, Ben sits on the advisory boards of technology start-ups across the US and Asia Pacific. Ben received his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and holds B.A. degrees in Business Administration and English Literature from Sungkyunkwan University in South Korea.
