Tod Anderson

Dr. Tod C. Anderson DDS, (a.k.a. Dr. Tod), is an experienced dentist with a background in the biotech industry. Dr. Tod graduated from UCSB (University of California - Santa Barbara) with a Bachelor of Science in Bio-Psychology. He worked for Bayer Pharmaceuticals as well as MERCK after graduation. Dr. Tod has a unique background coming from Silicon Valley start-up companies and has helped build multiple companies starting in the bootstrap mode to successful buyout and IPOs. NetDynamics: NetDynamics was purchased by Sun Microsystems for $150 million in 1998 from a bootstrap start up in 1995. Dr. Tod was a tech support engineer, and opened and developed a tech support division in Sydney Australia while living there for 4 months in 1998. Webex: While working as a lead Major Accounts Sales Engineer, Dr. Tod helped to grow Webex revenue from $20 million to $100 million in his tenure there and helped Webex go public in 2000 - which was later acquired by Cisco. DENTISTRY: Dr. Tod decided to pursue his passion for entrepreneurial and healthcare related interests and attended the prestigious University of Southern California (USC) Dental School in 2003, graduating in 2007. During his time at USC, he became the president of the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity – an organization known for developing leadership with an emphasis on ethical achievement. Dr. Tod used his online technology skills to help USC upgrade their software system to enhance the implementation and integration of patients into the dental school academic clinical training program. When he isn’t working in the clinic on patients, he is continuing his education by attending courses and advanced trainings in dental aesthetics, technology, or doing oral product analysis.
