Bernhard Gold

Bernhard is Partner and Managing Director at Iris Capital, Inc. in San Francisco. Before that, Bernhard was Managing Director at T-Venture of America, the Corporate Venture Capital arm of Deutsche Telekom, Germany (T-Mobile in the US). His main fields of interest are the online, mobile and media sector. Bernhard is responsible for the T-Venture investments in Boxfish, Cooliris, Delivery Agent, Kwarter, Moviepilot, NewAer, Nexmo, Pinger, Ruckus Wireless and ShareThis. Before T-Venture, Bernhard was working as a Senior Manager at T-Online International AG in Germany, responsible for marketing and sales of the internet services. Between 1999 and 2001 he was Co-Founder and CEO of the Munich based start-up CyberProfit AG. Bernhard holds a Diploma in Business Administration and a Master in Business Research (MBR). Beside his job he is currently finishing his Ph.D. at the Munich School of Management of the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (LMU).
