Peter Anjos Pawtucket Peter Anjos, born 18 September 1979, formerly of 545 York Ave., Pawtucket, is an American pianist, composer and music producer, known for his original achievements in the field of film music as well as jazz and rock music. Anjos was born in Brooklyn where he grew up and got early education. Since young age Peter showed his musical talent, when at the age of six began to learn to play guitar and piano. During the 90s, influenced by the jazz music he joined the Bugs band. His musical education improved when Anjos started to study the works of jazz music, attending the classes of renewed pianist and professor Martin Shultz. In 1997 he enrolled at Berklee School of music where spent 3 years studying the works of world class jazz pianists. Today, Anjos is the head of the film music division at UniversalWorks studios and works with other composers through the company that he founded, Peter Anjos Records. Anjos’ works are notable for his ability of integrating jazz music sounds with traditional orchestral arrangements. He has received four Grammy Awards, three Classical BRIT Awards, and a Golden Globe. With his production company Peter Anjos has organized several talent shows which brought to lights some talented jazz artist like Draco Basso, Miguel Sancho and others.
