Kenneth Kannappan

Kenneth Kannappan serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Plantronics since 1999. Upon joining Plantronics in 1995, Ken spent two years leading the sales organizations in Asia Pacific, Latin America, the U.S. and Europe. In 1997, he was named Senior Vice President responsible for Plantronics Worldwide Operations, Plantronics Mobile and Clarity divisions and Plantronics Limited. A year later, Ken was promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer and named to the Board of Directors. Prior to joining Plantronics, Ken was Senior Vice President of Investment Banking for Kidder, Peabody & Co. Incorporated. Ken is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mattson Technology, Inc., a supplier of advanced process equipment for the semiconductor industry. Ken is also a Member of the Board of Directors at Integrated Device Technology (IDT), a company that develops system-level solutions that optimize its customers' applications. Ken is Vice Chairman of the Silicon Valley Leadership Group (SVLG) and serves on the Advisory Board of Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Cruz County. Ken holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Yale University and a Master's of Business Administration from Stanford University.
