Glenn Dubin is an investor and philanthropist. He is the Founder and Principal of Dubin & Co. LP, a private investment firm, as well as the Chairman of the Dubin Family Foundation. Glenn focuses on investments in early and late-stage growth companies, where he provides strategic advice and mentorship to their founders. Glenn is also a co-Founder, Board member and former Board chair of the Robin Hood Foundation, which pioneered the application of investment principles to charitable giving. Established in 1988, Robin Hood is now the largest poverty-fighting organization in New York City, having invested more than $3 billion dollars in over 425 community partners. In 1992, Glenn co-founded Highbridge Capital Management LLC, an alternative asset management company that grew to over $35 billion of capital under management under his tenure. In 2009, Highbridge was acquired by J.P. Morgan Asset Management. In late 2012, Glenn and a prominent group of investors acquired Castleton Commodities International LLC (“CCI,” formerly Louis Dreyfus Highbridge Energy), a global merchant energy company. In 2015, CCI acquired Morgan Stanley’s Global Oil Merchanting business, positioning the company as one of the world’s leading independent energy merchants. In 2013, Glenn founded Engineers Gate LP, a quantitative trading company committed to building a next generation operating and technology platform for systematic trading strategies. In January 2020, Engineers Gate was spun out of Dubin & Co. and today operates as a successful independent hedge fund. Glenn also serves on the Board of Trustees of the Mount Sinai Health System, where he and his wife, Dr. Eva Andersson-Dubin, established the Dubin Breast Center, a leading institution for breast cancer research and clinical care. .
