Ed founded Fifth Floor Venture Partners in 2019. He has 20+ years in venture funded startups and 15+ years as a Venture Capitalist. He is a serial inventor – author to 12 patents to date – and has a sharp eye for disruptive technologies. Ed was co-founded Audible, the pioneer and global leader of spoken audio content on the internet (which was acquired by Amazon). Also, he was the CEO and Co-Founder of New Moon Systems, an enterprise software company which was acquired by Tarantella, a division of Oracle. He is currently on the board of directors of Phizzle. He was the former Executive Chairman & COO of TuneIn and served on the boards of FastSoft and BioImagene. Ed holds a Master of Science and Doctorate degrees from the University of California, Berkeley and a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science and Mathematics from New York University.
