Somshankar Das

Som Das is an Investor and Co-Founder and Executive Adviser at Iono. Som previously worked at TiE as a Charter Member. He attended Stanford University Graduate School of Business and the University of Calcutta. He is involved with the scaling of early stage technology IaaS, SaaS, Big Data companies at Business Accelerator through focused strategic partnerships and channel relationships. His portfolio of companies includes mobility, video, security, ecommerce, fintech and cloud computing solutions. Som’s past experiences include the establishment of one of India’s earliest offshore venture funds (1996) with Walden International, investments in WebEx, Mindtree, Sierra Atlantic and the founding and CEO ship of e4eInc (one of the early cross border Business Services companies providing business solutions to the Technology, Financial Services and Health Care verticals).
