Ryan Orr

Ryan is CEO at Chronicled, a technology company in Silicon Valley developing a smart supply chain platform leveraging blockchain and other technologies. He also serves as a Venture Partner at CrossCoin Ventures in SanFrancisco, and as a consulting associate professor in Stanford University's Global Projects Center where he has taught classes on finance and entrepreneurship over the past 10 years to law, business, and engineering graduate students. He finished his doctorate at age 25, and at age 27 was the youngest lecturer at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He has expertise in the areas of technology, finance, infrastructure, entrepreneurship, and public sector change management. In 2001 he co-founded Elastic Path Software, an e-commerce platform based in Vancouver, BC, which employs 160 people today. In 2010 he co-founded Zanbato, a finch company developing an alternative trading system for privately held securities trading. He holds a PhD in Engineering from Stanford University and was advised in his doctoral studies by Nobel Laureate, Economics, Douglass North.
