Anna Ricci

Anna Ricci, who holds the position of Chief Science Officer at zk-Call & Digital Co. — is a valuable asset to our company. She plays a key role in coordinating and managing our rapidly evolving cutting-edge projects! Anna was born in 1986 in the capital of Italy. Since childhood, she has shown a great interest in science and technology. In 1992, Anna enrolled in a local school in Rome and successfully studied with honors. At school, Anna had a special interest in mathematical sciences and actively participated in Olympiads, winning prizes. Teachers of Anna's native school speak about the student as a diligent kid who always goes to her goal! After graduating from high school, her choice fell on the University of Rome 'Tor Vergata' , where she decided to continue her education, enrolling in 2005. As a specialty, Anna chose something she had been fascinated by since her childhood — Information and Communication Technologies, focusing on ICT and Internet Engineering, a field that delves deep into the intricacies of digital communication, network architectures, and security protocols. Anna was a frequent visitor to the university library, where she could spend several hours after her study sessions. During her time at the university, Anna was actively involved in research projects related to software development. She excelled in a research project on computer communications development, receiving a separate certificate of commendation. Her diligence and talent did not go unnoticed by her professors, and she was selected for an internship with “Arc-Team”, one of Italy's leading software development companies. During the internship, Anna closely followed the work of professionals in developing new technologies for 3D field excavations. The participation of Anna allowed the employees to get to know about new methods of software development and how these big companies are managed in reality! After her graduation from the University of Rome 'Tor Vergata' in 2010, having successfully completed both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees — Anna continued her academic journey. She enrolled in a postgraduate program at the 'University of Palermo' more commonly known as "UNIPA" in the same year, focusing on the Management of Software Development projects. This phase of her studies was filled with internships and practicums. During her postgraduate studies, she also worked in companies such as Finmeccanica (now Leonardo S.p.A.), STMicroelectronics, Reply S.p.A. , Accenture, and others, which were creating the best software for businesses in different fields. Anna was able to distill all her experience and management skills to oversee the most promising projects! After successfully completing her doctoral studies and obtaining her Doctor of Philosophy degree in 2013, Anna embarked on a new journey. She became actively involved in leading projects that focused on developing innovative Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence applications. Her work had a special emphasis on Fintech Innovations and projects dedicated to the Protection of Personal Data and Privacy. This phase of her career included collaboration with IT companies to implement cutting-edge technologies in these areas. As time went on, Anna was initially invited to participate as a Security Advisor and Auditor for our company — zk-Call & Digital Co., specifically focusing on its Security and Communications division. This opportunity quickly evolved, and Anna decided to join us full-time. Her dedication and expertise led her up the career ladder, eventually earning her the position of Chief Science Officer. In this role, Anna found the perfect place to realize her ambitions. Dedicated to developing and implementing innovative solutions in the field of secure communication and artificial intelligence, she now oversees projects that are at the forefront of technological advancement. Her work helps ensure the security and privacy of user data, making our products leaders in their segments. Anna says about her professional career: « When I was just beginning my journey in the world of information technology, I was extremely curious to see how software development was evolving. I was particularly inspired by the advances and breakthroughs in data protection using zero-disclosure protocol. It was a time when concepts that seemed like fiction were becoming reality, and it made me think about the limitless possibilities of technology.. » Anna continues to explore new technologies outside of work and devotes her time to mentoring young professionals in an effort to inspire the next generation of humanity to continue to advance technologically.
