Shaw Joseph

Shaw Joseph is a Principal at General Atlantic and focuses on investments in the firm’s Retail & Consumer sector. Shaw serves on the boards of Barteca, Torchy’s Tacos, and is a board observer for Squarespace. He has been involved in the firm’s investments in, Joe & The Juice, and SnapAV where he was previously on the board. Since joining General Atlantic in 2012, Shaw has also been active in the firm’s Internet & Technology sector. Previously, he was an Associate with Hellman & Friedman. Shaw began his career as an Analyst in the Mergers & Acquisitions advisory group of Greenhill & Co., and subsequently concentrated on Private Equity investments for Greenhill Capital Partners.
