Itziar Estevez Latasa

Itziar joined the team in 2019 and is based in Munich. She focuses on late-stage and growth capital investments across Europe. Her areas of expertise include B2B software, data and analytics, cyber-security, supply chain and logistics, deeptech, industry 4.0 technologies, and impact themes. At IRIS, Itziar has led an investment in Forto and Red Points, and represents IRIS on the Board of Rebuy and Open-Xchange. Prior to joining the team, Itziar spent 10 years as a venture capital investor at Next47 and Siemens Venture Capital. Her past investments and portfolio responsibilities include Black Duck (acq. by Synopsys), Thinkstep (acq. by Sphera / Genstar Capital), Braincube, Polarion (acq. by Siemens), Wurldtech (acq. by GE), Encelium (acq. by OSRAM), LogRhythm (acq. by Thoma Bravo). Previously, Itziar worked at The Boston Consulting Group in the London and Munich offices with a focus on Private Equity and energy projects. She started her career at BMW where she gained operational experience in the Munich production plant designing, implementing, and optimizing production lines. Itziar holds an Industrial Engineering degree from University of Navarra -incl. exchange program at the Technical University Munich -and an MBA from London Business School.
