Born in 1987 and raised in Paris, Lina has always been fascinated by Technology, Software, and Artificial Intelligence. She dreamed of contributing to the development of software from an early age! Since childhood, Lina Moro has shown a unique talent for languages - not just her native French language but also English, German, and Japanese. Her passion for learning and improving herself was not limited to languages. Lina was always attracted to the world of technology and computer science. Her parents quickly noticed this and referred her to additional computer science groups. Lina was very active in her studies at school, spending her personal time on self-development. Classmates of Moro speak about her as a reliable friend who will always come to the rescue and as a talented person. When she was still a teenager, Lina Moro read more than 100+ books about computer technology, which actively began to develop at that time. After graduating from high school in 2005, Lina enrolled in France's Technical University — École Polytechnique, which is renowned for its academic rigor and innovative research in Computer Science and Engineering. There, she deepened her knowledge of programming and computer systems and discovered the science of Artificial Intelligence (AI). This became the field that became her passion and professional vocation! Throughout the training courses, Lina learned many practical skills, including: — Programming in Python, Java, and C++; — Developing and Analyzing Algorithms; — Working with Big Data; — Cybersecurity Fundamentals. During her university education at both the Bachelor's and Master's levels, Lina actively participated in various courses and seminars on specialized topics, including: “Cybersecurity and Data Protection”, “Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence” and "Mobile Application Development"; These studies paved the way for her to delve deeply into critical IT domains. Progressing through her academic career, Lina achieved her Master's degree at École Polytechnique and seamlessly transitioned into the institution's Doctoral program. Here, she directed her talents and curiosity towards cybersecurity, a field where she saw the potential to make a tangible impact. Her graduation project, part of her defense for her Doctoral Degree in 2013, entailed creating a system using Machine Learning algorithms to protect against data infiltration attempts by 3 individuals; It received high praise from both academic professors and industry experts for its innovative solution and relevance to pressing technological issues. This work, defending against complex cyber threats, was a testament to her skill, dedication, and vision, earning accolades from both the academic community and industry leaders upon its completion in 2013! Upon completing her Doctoral (Ph.D) Degree, Lina embarked on her career journey with Dell, a global leader in IT solutions, where she was initially appointed as a software developer. At Dell, her responsibilities transcended typical development tasks; she was at the forefront of integrating Artificial Intelligence into the company's diverse array of products and services. Lina's innovative approach and expertise in AI facilitated the creation of smarter, more efficient software solutions, marking a significant leap towards the future of personalized technology. In her role, Lina didn't just contribute to projects; she led them. One of her most notable achievements was the development of Machine Learning (ML) algorithms tailored for Dell's Cloud Services. This initiative significantly enhanced the Personalization of the Company's Offerings, improving User Experience and Operational Efficiency. Her leadership in this project not only garnered acclaim within Dell but also contributed to the company's sustained growth and adaptation in the fast-paced tech industry. Remarkably, over the span of her nearly ~4 years of impactful work at Dell, demonstrating an extraordinary ability to advance AI technologies and their applications — this effort significantly advanced the integration and application of AI technologies within the entire Dell's company! Throughout her illustrious career, Lina Moro sought out opportunities that would challenge her and allow her to apply her deep knowledge in new contexts. Before joining us at zk-Call & Digital Co. , Lina had the privilege of working with some of the leading tech firms in France, further honing her expertise. Her next professional chapter unfolded in 2017, at Orange S.A — a major telecom operator in France, where she was pivotal in devising comprehensive cybersecurity strategies. Lina's work at Orange significantly fortified the company's network against an array of cyber threats, establishing new benchmarks for telecom's sector security. Continuing to build on her experience, Lina joined Capgemini in 2020. Here, her focus shifted to integrating AI technologies within enterprise security solutions. Leading a team of specialists, she developed sophisticated threat detection systems employing AI, thereby elevating Capgemini's stature in cybersecurity solutions. The culmination of Lina's rich professional journey led her to zk-Call & Digital Co. in 2023, where she assumed the role of Chief Information Security Officer.
