Max Schnoedl

Max Schnoedl is an independent board director (incl. non-executive / executive chair) with senior leadership / board experience in govtech across six companies and a variety of customer / market segments. Currently, Max is Executive Chair of SDL, a permitting and licensing provider to 300+ local government agencies in 14 states, Board Member of Go Vocal, a community engagement provider active in more than 20 countries, and PlanetBids, an e-procurement platform for public, education and non-profit entities across 12 states. He served as Chair emeritus of Springbrook, a provider of cloud-based ERP and payments software for local governments, having previously been its President and CEO. Prior to that, he was COO, CFO and CSO for Accela, a leader in permitting software for state and local governments, and (non-executive) Board Chair of BRZ, a European government IT services provider. Max holds an MBA from Harvard University and a doctorate degree from the University of Vienna, Austria.
